INVAR® , material 1.3912

Material 1.3912, better known under the brand name INVAR®, is an iron-nickel alloy with an unusually low coefficient of thermal expansion, or invariant strain to a change in temperature. The name INVAR®, which has since become synonymous, is derived from the term invariance.
